Join park staff at the North Carolina Monument parking area at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16th for a 2 mile Fun Run. The trail is moderate in difficulty and does encompass a few moderate hills. This event is for all runners who enjoy the outdoors. The trail will take the runner through scenic landscape that maintains historical significance from Robert E. Lee’s surrender to U.S. Grant on April 9, 1865. Please bring proper footwear for running.
