Living History for Homeschool Students

  • Patrick Henry's Red Hill (map)

Join us for our Annual Days of Living History for Homeschooled Students. The program is geared for children ages 8 to 10 years old, although children younger and older benefit from the hands-on experience of 18th century life.

Programs rotate among spinning and weaving, basket making, blacksmithing, rope making, tin punching, pottery, and Colonial medicine. Groups may register by providing the number and ages of children, as well as the number of adults in attendance.

Cost for this event: $5 per child ages 9 & up; $3 per child ages 4-8 and ages 0-3 FREE; $6 per adult
